At the main bathhouse, there are male and female facilities. The sexes are separated. Also, there are the Roman baths and there are jacuzzis. This facility also has saunas and other facilities including areas for massages.
How do you sign up for the private bath houses? Can multiple people fit into one bath? How long can you reserve the bath and what is the cost?

There are 2 bath houses. One is a spa and expensive and the other is run by the park. I've never had an issue getting in a bath. 30 minutes is around $12.00. They supply towels and cold spring water to drink. The tubs are huge and can hold 5 to 6 people. Water is 102 degrees.

In my experience the temperature to which the baths are heated fluctuates but is always pleasantly warm. The state park has two bath houses, with the Bath House having newly renovated baths but segregated by sex and the Old Roman Bath has older communal baths that are coed depending on customer preference. Customers get their own individual bath and don't share with strangers. There are a number of spas in Berkeley Springs and about an hour south in Hampshire County is the Capon Springs Resort. It is a family resort with a newly opened bath house. The baths are newer and nicer than the state park, but I have only toured them as they are only open to guests. I live nearby and the state park is good enough for me.
