Hi, Caywood Farms begins cotton farm tours in October. We try to run tours through March, however, the State of Arizona requires farmers to have their cotton out of the ground by February 15th. We can still offer farm tours but there is no cotton in our fields. We show a power point presentation on cotton followed by a hayride around the farm that includes an equipment demonstration and a look at our fields of alfalfa. Summers are very hot and we do not offer tours. Our cotton is growing but bolls of cotton don't begin to open until August. If you are in our area and don't mind very hot weather and really want to see our cotton, you may call me at 520-560-1119 and I will do my best to accommodate you. Thank you for checking us out on Trip Advisor. Safe travels. Nancy Caywood.

Yes...we do offer trips for schools. We have a dairy program, insect program, and a cotton program. We can also develop programs that fit specific needs of a class. We charge $5.00 per student and that includes 1 hour of hands on activities, food sampling, a hayride and an activity book that reinforces material taught at the farm. The program be a little over 2 hours.
