We’ve been here for the last 3 weeks and have had some different weather. 1st week was torrential rain, rained all day almost everyday. The 2nd week only rained for an hour or 2 around 11am most days, the rest of the day was nice, 28degrees and partly cloudy. The last week has been clear, hot and sunny almost everyday day, with no rain, or it rains for an hour before 5am. So pretty hit and miss, although it’s not too bad when it’s always so warm! We will be at Kamala Beach for 2 weeks at the end of November. My husband is wanting to rent a car. Is it safe and easy enough to navigate around the area? Are there others forms of transportation that would be easier?

Hi Marsha, I believe it is easy enough to navigate, scooter will be easier Specially if you’ll go downtown to patong beach for parking.
