I would ask the concierge at your hotel where you could book the tour. There are shuttles that will take you from the Strip to Lake Mead and the cost will be much cheaper than an Uber.

They don't allow outside food or beverages because they sell snacks, food and beverages. Alcoholic and non alcoholic. They have a small gift shop too.
