travel in a group not a staight line. the wake surfers throw out a pretty good size wake but most are repspectful of kayakers. its a twenty to thirty minute crossing. my 13 and fifteen year old grandaughters handle it easily. the fifteen year has no problem handling on a paddleboard. just turn into the big wakes .
