Is it hilly in the area of St. Andrew's square? Is it a climb to Edinburgh Castle? I'm taking a group of senior citizens there.

St Andrew’s Square is completely flat, there is a small incline/decline to Princes Street. Edinburgh Castle would be a steep walk though, whichever route you take.
