The visitor's center is. There are paved paths between the buildings. However the buildings are historic, which means they were not designed for accessibility and to make them accessible could damage their historic character. There are small steps and ledges by the entrances in many cases, though you can see into some buildings from the front door. Rutledge Tavern appears to have a ramp.
There used to be a resturant across the street and on top of the hill. Was family oriented - home cooked style food with a gift shop. It is still there?

The village is right next to the parking lot. I don't know exactly how long the village itself is. You can stop at each house/building and read about what it was used for. We went off season, so none of the buildings were open except for the visitors center and a building making barrels. Mostly dirt roads. But the walk can be challenging if you go all the way down to the grist mill which is just a building but you have to go down many steps over a covered bridge and then down more stairs. (Which means you have to walk up all those stairs you came down.) if you take your time and enjoy it on a nice day, will definitely take maybe 1+ hours. Fun activity.
