What a wonderful experience. Unfortunately three of our group of four are in our upper 70’s so some sites (such as the caves) we were not able to experience. Our fourth person who’s only 69 did make …Don S的完整评论

I've read a few reviews that say go early. Is this an absolute must? I can see where it might be since all Pueblos remain closed to visitors. We would be going on a Thursday afternoon. Mom will be accompanying, and while she is mobile, she's not one for hiking. Is this outing worth pursuing given these issues?

There will be less people on a weekday. Mom could do the easy hike to the first set of cliff dwellings, but would just have to wait and watch you as you climbed the ladders to actually see the small “caves” in the hillside. I would forget about doing the Alcove House/ long hike with Mom. If Mom is independent she could get coffee and a snack in the little cafe and read a book while the rest of you did those hikes- about 2.5 hours depending on how many people you must wait on to go up and down the various ladders.

Hi there- thinking of visiting in the next few weeks. We're not hikers though and are hoping to drive through and get out, take a walk or small hike. Is this possible and worth our time?
答:
Yes, it’s an easy walk. You can choose to hike or climb up steep areas if you want, but not necessary. There’s sidewalk through the 1st half & a walk through the woods on the 2nd half.
