I will be travel to HOH Rainforest on June 5th (Wednesday) of this year. What time do the crowds start to thin out? Is getting to the park at 3PM late enough? Also, what is the latest time to enter the park?

We went in at 9. 8 cars ahead. When we came out at 1, 96 Cars in line. I don’t know about late afternoon or how late you can go/get in.

I am still hearing and seeing the notices to expect long waits from 9 to 5, but then I am also hearing that it is a slow time in October and there is usually no crowds. We are leaving in 1 week. We have the option to go to the HOH on Sunday or Monday, which is the best? Thank you in advance for any help. I have tried to call the visitor centers but I just get a recording.

I can't say for certain, but tourism is generally much slower in October and I wouldn't expect the long delay. I'd personally go Monday to avoid the weekend crowd that might be there …
