As others have said it depends on if your child enjoys that sort of stuff, I would say it is a guideline only as it could be very educational, but it can make you queasy! Whilst we were there, we saw a mom go past the section we were in with 2 young children (definitely both under 10) and they seemed fascinated. However she did quickly usher them through the section on fetus's but I had to laugh when the youngest of the children ran back into that section and was marvelling at the displays! He clearly wasn't fazed at all!
