Canadian miner Equinox Gold has entered a definitive arrangement agreement with Calibre Mining for an at-market business combination, with Equinox acquiring all issued and outstanding common shares of Calibre.

Equinox Gold (TSX:EQX,NYSEAMERICAN:EQX) and Calibre Mining (TSX:CXB,OTCQX:CXBMF) have entered into a definitive arrangement agreement to merge, creating a major diversified gold producer in the Americas.

With 100% ownership of Greenstone and Valentine, New Equinox Gold will become the second-largest gold producer in Canada, the companies said. The combined company is expected to produce approximately 950,000 ounces of gold in 2025, not including production from Valentine or Los Filos.
