Michigan State, Michigan players trade shoves during Spartans’ senior day tradition
Michigan State and Michigan basketball players got into a scuffle late in the Spartans’ 79-62 win on Sunday in East Lansing, with the incident stemming from MSU’s senior day tradition of having the outgoing seniors kiss the midcourt logo when they check out of the game.

Michigan guard Phat Phat Brooks shoved Michigan State guard Tre Holloman after he pushed Wolverines guard L.J. Cason on Sunday at midcourt of the Breslin Center, where seniors have kissed the Spartans’ logo in their final home game ever since Shawn Respert did it in 1995.
