Muslims from across Long Island — and across the globe — commemorated the Eid-al-Fitr on Sunday with prayers followed by family gatherings and traditional home cooking.

Their Royal Highnesses said Nuzul Al-Quran was not only a historic occasion but also a reminder for all Muslims to delve deeper into and appreciate the teachings of the Quran in their daily lives.
