There are many ways to make apple cobbler but this recipe is my all-time favorite ... so that it resembles a cobbled road. A fruit crisp also has a topping that is sprinkled over the filling.

In an electric mixer, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form. Add the powdered sugar and vanilla and whip until stiff peaks form. Serve with apple crisp.
