Any discussion of light bulb lifetime would be incomplete ... GE 15,000 hour “Classic”, and 25,000-hour Cree A19 LED bulbs. There’s more to an LED bulb than just the LEDs.

Those closer to 100 will better enable colors to appear the same as if viewed under the light of an incandescent bulb. Warm-up time is how long the bulb took to reach near full brightness.

The new Cree 60-watt equivalent ... Dark shades absorb light, so consider brighter bulbs. Shopping tip. Buy just one or two bulbs to try them out. If you like the light, then buy more.
