Born around 1539, Martin Frobisher spent his life plundering Spanish and French ships. According to records kept shipmate George Best, Frosbisher thought he had found the fabled Northwest Passage.
In his 825-page work, he wrote an account of Martin Frobisher's expeditions to search for a northwest passage to China. He also wrote a political document titled Discourse of Western Planting.
