Although using Apple Maps (the default iPhone navigation app) has its benefits, there are still reasons to stick with Google's navigation app. Google Maps is a popular addition to Android phones.

A recent report reveals that updating an iPhone running 18.3.2 to Google Maps version 25.13.5 enables a new option under Settings > Apps > Default Apps to change the default navigation app.
