Federal inspectors announced the recall of about 22,672 pounds of Johnsonville cheddar bratwurst shipped to 10 states after hard plastic was reportedly found in the product by consumers.

The agency said the recall was initiated after two consumer complaints about hard plastic material found in the bratwurst product. The USDA said it has not received any confirmed reports of injury.
