The cyclist was not wearing their helmet when they crashed into a car stopped at a red light, according to police.

Santa Cruz police are investigating a vehicle versus pedestrian crash that occurred Monday night. The crash was reported at the intersection of Highway 1 and River Street at around 8:30 p.m.
