I-90 from Park City to Columbus was shut down Friday due to unsafe road conditions, rare in Montana. Some travelers found their plans were impeded, while others weren't bothered by the road closure.
At 4:30 p.m., according to WSDOT, traffic was backed up more than 4 miles on westbound I-90, as commuters and travelers worked their way around the closed ramp. There was no official detour route.
