Gaming’s best side characters are all too often pushed to one side, but a handful are so good, that they’re deserving of their own spin-off series.

The “Luigi” issue comes the same week as Reddit’s new crackdown on banned content. Earlier this week, the company announced it would warn users who upvote content that is banned on the platform.

In other words, it won’t be a launch game. In fact, if the report is accurate the game — Luigi’s Mansion 4 — won’t even be a Nintendo Switch 2 launch game, which is to say release in 2025.
