Microsoft is reportedly gearing up to deliver a brand new, slimline version of Microsoft Teams that will replace the existing desktop app to bring performance upgrades on lower-end devices.

Every Team you create includes some Channels. These channels resemble tasks or initiatives you create within your Team. In loose terms, these channels represent sub-folders in a larger folder (Team).

As announced last week, Microsoft is officially discontinuing the Skype messaging service on May 5, 2025. Apparently, there wasn’t enough user interest to keep the once-iconic video call app alive.
