Minecraft with RTX feels like little more than a technical demo at this point, but drew controversy when Microsoft used it to showcase ray tracing on Xbox Series X|S before the console released.

"Minecraft" will soon be prettier even without ray tracing: The developers from Microsoft studio Mojang have announced Vibrant Visuals, a comprehensive graphics update for the creative game.

It's also worth noting that this is very different from Minecraft RTX, which was Mojang and NVIDIA's ray-tracing update to the game that brought full ray-tracing or path tracing to the title.
