While the art itself for the new Nintendo Switch 2 game boxes is beautiful, with Donkey Kong Bananza looking particularly striking, many Nintendo fans have taken to Reddit and social media with one gripe – the large red slab across the top of the game boxes and centred logo is a problem.

Nintendo has released the first look at physical Switch 2 games. The boxes will once again retain the red motif established by the Nintendo Switch, however, the Switch 2 game will feature a large red bar across the top of the box art, displaying the Nintendo Switch 2 logo.

In a surprise move, it appears that pre-orders have gone live early and UK fans can now order from Argos. While the standard console, priced at £395.99, is currently sold out, the bundle containing Mario Kart, which costs £429.99, is available.
