HAMDEN, Conn. (WTNH) — A Pitbull mix found severely malnourished and wounded last year has been adopted to a forever home, officials with “Where the Love is Animal Shelter” said Friday.

Lizzy, an 8-year-old pitbull mix, was adopted after spending 451 days at the Marion County Dog Pound. Two other long-term residents, Barkley and Nick, are still waiting for their forever homes.
