Edson Munekata and Freddy Lee took over ownership of one of downtown Wilmington’s riverfront restaurants in 2022. Since then, they’ve been operating The George on the Riverwalk much as it had been.

The changes happening at the restaurant may happen slowly, the new owner said. But it will retain the best of the old and new.
