当地时间2025年2月11日，在第八次试飞正式开始以前，S34启动了全发动机静态点火测试，持续时间长达约60秒，这是星舰飞船首次执行超长时试射。以往最多执行10秒级点火测试。足以证明，七飞的惨痛教训，让SpaceX更加谨慎。
