This canned tuna recall is widespread across 27 states at various big-name grocery chains. It's time to check your pantry for these tuna brands!

If you were planning on making some of Matthew McConaughey’s tuna salad this week, you may have to put that on pause. Tri-Union Seafoods issued a recall of its canned tuna products on February 7. The recall was made “out of an abundance of caution” due to a manufacturing defect that could put consumers at risk of botulism poisoning.

Cans of tuna sold under the Genova, Van Camp’s, H-E-B and Trader Joe’s brand names is being recalled cover contamination concerns. See the full list.
