UAB men’s basketball star Yaxel Lendeborg has been named the American Athletic Conference Player of the Week after leading the Blazers to conference wins over Tulane and Florida Atlantic.

East Carolina has hit the road for its second consecutive away American Athletic Conference series, taking on the UAB Blazers beginning Thursday at Young Memorial Field in Birmingham, Alabama.
