It has hauled Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment Minister Dion George to court to compel him to establish and declare an annual export quota for lion bones and derivatives for 2024 and 2025.

Those bones belonged to a federally listed endangered species that is illegal to possess and transport. A mountain lion was reported in a Camarillo backyard hanging out under a playground set.
