Once again, Michigan State basketball went into a tough road environment to face a strong, ranked Big Ten opponent, and came away with a massive victory. The No. 8 ranked Spartans, who were an underdog in this game, took down No. 16 Maryland thanks to an insane half-court shot from Tre Holloman.

The No. 8 Spartans once again wore down an opponent in the second half, climbing out of a two-point halftime deficit for a 58-55 victory over No. 15 Maryland on Wednesday night at Xfinity Center. Holloman hit a 3-pointer from the logo as time expired after Maryland rushed a 3-point shot in the final 7 seconds.

Tre Holloman lobbed a 50-foot shot before the horn sounded to send No. 8 Michigan State to a stunning 58-55 victory over No. 16 Maryland.
