First responders held a procession to honor the officer killed in a shooting at UPMC Memorial Hospital in York on Feb. 22.

The York community is coming together to support the family of West York Borough Officer Andrew Duarte, who was tragically killed in a mass shooting at UPMC.

The son of UPMC Memorial nurse Jessica Breighner created a GoFundMe page to assist his mother following the incident.

UPMC Memorial Hospital has reopened its intensive care unit following a Feb. 22  shooting that left two dead and five wounded.

A nurse wrote that she was held against the attacker as a shield at gunpoint, arms zip-tied behind her back, as they walked through a doorway and encountered responding police officers.

Tosha Trostle, a nurse injured during the mass shooting attack at UPMC Memorial on Feb. 22, took to Facebook to share her personal account of what happened.
