As the title role in “Bugsy Malone Jr.,” 13-year-old Niya Bennett had center stage for a big musical number Sunday.

With a catchy, swinging score by the composer of The Muppet Movie, Bugsy Malone Junior includes a chorus which may be expanded to include as many performers as desired.
