Snow totals for a storm system hitting part of Michigan today have been upgraded to 6-10 inches in some areas, as Winter Storm Warnings have been hoisted across a section of the Upper Peninsula.
The weather service adds to be ready for, "Snow and patchy blowing snow. Additional snow accumulations up to two inches. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph." "Plan on slippery road conditions.
