Skydive Arizona released new information about the Feb. 16 death of a skydiver in Eloy. It says the "highly experienced skydiver" died from injuries he sustained when landing.

Three skydivers have died in less than one month at the same facility in Arizona, officials said. The most recent death involved a 47-year-old “experienced skydiver” who had jumped near Skydive Arizona in Eloy on Feb 16,

Data from the U.S. Parachute Association shows that skydiving fatalities are increasingly rare, even as the activity grows in popularity nationwide.

A skydiver has died during a descent in Arizona, authorities said, marking the fourth parachuting fatality connected to the company within the last month.
