Winners of their last seven games, the Winnipeg Jets will try to make some team history when they host another red-hot opponent in the New York Islanders on Friday.

Offensively, former Vancouver Canucks captain Bo Horvat is leading the way for the Islanders, with 19 goals and 40 points. Isles captain Anders Lee leads his team in goals with 22 and has been a handful for the Jets to handle over the years, Lee has 17 goals and 24 points in 20 career games against the franchise.

Red-hot over the past two weeks, Winnipeg (38-14-3) will take on the 25-21-7 Islanders at 7:00 PM central downtown from Canada Life Centre. The two changes to the Jets' lineup will be that of its stud goaltender Connor Hellebuyck,
