USC's defense was particularly poor Wednesday night. Ohio State shot 55% behind the 3-point line, making 11 triples. The Buckeyes scored 52 points in the first half, putting the Trojans into an early hole that was ultimately too much for them to come back from.

The USC Trojans are on a massive slump. They have lost four straight games with the latest heartbreak being handed to them by the Ohio State Buckeyes. Coach Eric Musselman and Co. need to find a way to get their groove back. Otherwise, their fan base might not be too happy and call for his head by the end of the season.

There are numerous factors that have contributed to USC's frustrating campaign, most notably a first-year coaching staff and quite literally only returning one scholarship player from the year prior.

The USC Trojans’ first Big Ten basketball season hasn’t been ideal. After going 8-12 in their final Pac-12 season and concluding eighth in the rankings, they are currently 6-10 in the Big Ten, ranking 14th in Eric Musselman’s inaugural season at the school.
