Four deputies were taken to a local hospital following a multi-vehicle crash in Spanaway Saturday afternoon. The roadway at the 15600 block of Pacific Avenue is being cleared up following the wreck. Several vehicles were involved, including the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office, according to a post on X from Central Pierce Fire & Rescue.

Four deputies are recovering after a morning attempted carjacking ended with two patrol cars damaged in Spanaway.

All the deputies suffered minor injuries. This all started around 10:30 Saturday morning. A man called 911 to report a woman and three men carjacked his vehicle at gunpoint near 175th and Pacific Avenue in Spanaway. Deputies caught up with the stolen car on northbound Pacific Avenue.
