2007年5月21日 · If your hunting out of a pit, stay away from short barrels, and or ported barrels. I made the mistake of using 26" 101 in a pit one day. The other fellas let me know that there ears hurt. Other then that, use what you shoot best.

2018年11月25日 · Load the duck gun with whatever duck load you have confidence in (I prefer Winchester Experts, 2 3/4", #3 shot)and load the goose gun with either Heavy Metal or Speedball BB's. If for some reason Texas doesn't allow using 2 guns in the field, then you should carry a box of both loads and load your gun with the duck loads to start.

I would go with the 12 gauge and 28" barrel. The 3.5" chamber is only needed if you are going to stretch the distance on big geese or wild turkeys .

2013年6月3日 · I used to shoot a Winchester SxP and it is a great shotgun; I traded it in for my Mossberg 500 and regretted it ever since. I do not know your exact budget but you should look at the Mossberg 930 auto-loader which is a great gun. If you absolutely need a pump, you can't go wrong with the 870, SxP, or the BPS; I just wouldn't get a 3.5 pump shotgun.
