CBO revises the cost of extending various TCJA tax provisions. In its latest analysis released this week, the Congressional Budget Office estimated the total cost of extending the individual income tax portions of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act to $3.5 trillion over ten years, from 2024 through 2033. Most of the TCJA’s individual income tax provisions will expire at the end of 2025.
