2019年8月3日 · Parking at the port would be easier, unless you pass through the tunnel before 6am weekdays it will cost you €10, aim to be at the port by 6.30-45 and you will get through the city quick enough. As you say there is limited parking at the Stena terminal here , there is a reasonable chance of getting a space but it is far from guaranteed.

When planning for the Dublin port tunnel started it was known that it would be too low, but that was never taken into account due to incompetence and towering arrogance coupled with monumental stupidity. Especially when one considers that it was constructed specifically to take trucks out of the city center.

2021年10月4日 · The Port Tunnels limits can and do change mid-tunnel and I wouldn't think the SPECS install there could cope with that. I've not seen or heard of anyone getting fined for breaching a 50/60 there; only the overall 80.

To continue the Mayo example, correct me if I'm wrong, but Ballina, a small town, has more container rail freight traffic than Dublin Port. So again, that suggests significant potential for expansion at Dublin Port.
