Did you download and re-install the Scanner Driver and EPSON Scan Utility v3.9.2.3 from the support page for your scanner on the Epson website and is it the scan button in the official Epson software that is gray, and does that button not work even though the text is missing?

2024年7月3日 · Epson V600 works with Microsoft scan for documents but can't scan slides or negatives. Epson scan or epson scan2 doesn't work, neither does Vuescan. Epson service centre suggested it was an old defective scanner not worth repairing so now I have two V600 which don't work. This seems to be a windows issue. Surely someone can sort this out!

Hi everyone, I bought a new Dell Inspiron computer with Windows 10 and am trying to install my Epson Perfection V550 Photo Scanner. the computer does not recognize the device in control panel when trying to install a new devise. I downloaded the updated Driver from the Epson site, but still no luck. Any advice?

2015年9月9日 · I had same problem with my Epson Perfection V550 Photo - work just fine in Windowws 8.1 but in Windows 10 Pro (new installation on new notebook so also new instalation of epson drivers) dont work at all.

I located the V550 driver in Epson website, but when I try to install, I get a popup from MSoft telling me I must get driver from MS Store! When I try to install MS-recommended Scanner from Store, it does not appear to download! Please help!

2023年12月18日 · I understand you're having trouble connecting your Epson Perfection V550 Photo scanner to your Windows 10 computer using a USB cable. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try: Check the USB Cable and Ports: Make sure the USB cable is properly connected to both your scanner and computer.

a. Right Click on the Driver setup file and choose Properties. b. In Properties go to Compatibility tab. c. Under compatibility tab check mark the box which says “Run this program in compatibility mode for”. d. From the drop down menu choose Windows 8. e. Click on Apply and then ok. f. Try to install the driver again and check if it works.

2017年3月5日 · I have an HP Envy, Windows 10. I got a new Epson v550 Scanner and have been having trouble with the initial driver installation. I uninstalled all the new epson package software that was loaded and deleted anything else that had epson in it or v550. I also went into the twain folder and removed the folder that it had put in there.

1 issue though is that the action buttons on epson scan no longer show (preview, scan etc) if you click on the area they should be they still work and then appear- which is great if you know where all the buttons are! it worked perfectly fine the 10 min before i did the upgrade then had this issue immediately after.
