How to schedule material lead times into project scheduler?
2024年4月11日 · There are two ways to address this need. One method is to use a Finish to Start dependency with 10 days of Lag time. The other way is to use a "dummy" task named something like Shipping with a Duration of 10 days. The Shipping task should not have anyone assigned to the task, so this will not impact Work or Cost for the project.
How can I constrain material resources in MS Project?
2023年12月5日 · Is there a way to assigned fixed material resources to a task and have MS Project flag me once too many material resources are assigned to the project (i.e., the school has 10 serviceable bulldozers. Course A requires 7, Course B requires 5, both courses are administered at the same time. The project has a delta is 2 bulldozers)? Thanks!
