I just got a base 09 tsx and my old car is a 2000 infiniti I30, which has Bose audio system. I think the audio on the new tsx is great, very close to the Bose on the I30. Though on I30 I tuned the Bass to +2 and on tsx I have to tune to +5/6 to get the similar result.

Todays four cylinder engines are better than they've ever been. The TSX's I4 arrives out of the box in a high state of tune. Go drive one. Then compare it to the IS250. Whether or not the Lexus performs better is better left up to others to determine. I do know the TSX is an excellent package, now loaded with all manner of electronic goodies.

I let the local Acura dealership and Acura USA know that we considered replacing our 1999 TL with an 09 TSX but until this is fixed we would never consider purchasing one. There is simply no excuse for this obvious a problem in this class of car. The local dealer admitted they had gotten a lot of complaints in a very short time about this.

My 2006 TSX does something similar. After I started the car, emissions system warning light came on, after a minute, the various warning signals kept cycling every 15 second, ABS, VSA, and Brake.
