Once you have the trainer edition, you can upgrade to Evolution down the line if you choose and it will give you a discount through Steam.

2020年11月20日 · I've used an earlier edition of RealFlight, so have some experience with that. Of course the current version is Evolution or Trainer, available on Steam. I'm returning to the hobby after being away a few years. I was thinking maybe get the Trainer edition (with the Interlink controller). Can always upgrade to Evolution later.

2024年10月6日 · AFAIK Realflight 8.x (HH edition), RF9.5, 9.5s (Steam), RF Evo don't require a proprietary controller anymore and don't ask for a hardware dongle protection. I only know that the older software required DirectX9.0c, doesn't work on newer Intel CPUs with an internal Intel graphics card (iGpu) and that only RF Evo made the jump to DirectX 11.

2022年10月13日 · I still run Realflight 8.5 HH edition and have seen no improvement in 9, 9.5, 9.5s, and don't expect a revelation in evolution. I fly all the planes in both 8.5 and the newer versions and see no difference.
