The Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) (Bengali: বাংলাদেশ বিমান বাহিনী, romanized: Bāṅlādēś Bimān Bāhinī) is the aerial warfare branch of the Bangladesh Armed Forces. The air force is primarily responsible for air defence of Bangladesh's sovereign territory as well as providing air support to the Bangladesh Army and Bangladesh Navy.

Air Chief Marshal Hasan Mahmood Khan, BBP, OSP, GUP, nswc, psc, GD(P) assumed the command of Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) on 11 June 2024. He was born at Dhaka in a respectable Muslim family on 20 June 1966.
