2020年8月22日 · I'm helpin a friend build a pc, he got a gigabyte b550m ds3h bios ver. f3 MB and 2x8gb 3200Mhz ram sticks. When we open bios, it shows ram on 2666Mhz. Enabled XMP, saved and exited (it showed that xmp will change ram speed to 3200Mhz) and rebooted. Upon boot, task manager and cpu-z shows it's still on 2666Mhz.

2022年11月11日 · Is the MSI B550m Pro VDH WIFI really an S Tier Board? I thought it was a budget board and whilst the VRMs are good for the price range, it won't be able to handle the higher end CPUs (e.g. 5800X3D, Ryzen 9 processors and if overclocked).

2021年10月9日 · The Gigabyte DS3H is the better quality board with a 8 stage VRM and the 5 year old Realtek 8118 Ethernet LAN that was designed for gaming. The MSI Pro-VDH has a cheaper 6 stage VRM and a 17 year old Realtek 8111 Ethernet LAN that's the cheapest on the market, but it adds a cheap WiFi 5 card.

2023年11月26日 · I just switched to a Gigabyte B550m ds3h ac motherboard and when I startup, wifi just isnt there. I had an old wifi adapter but my gpu is too big that it cant fit under it, so im trying to use the onboard wifi. I only get connected if I use an ethernet cable. My motherboard rev is 1.7, I installed the WLAN drivers but wifi still is not working.

2022年1月31日 · It's a low end motherboard. The DS3H line is usually decent enough but poor on bios features and weak power delivery but good enough for a 8c/16t CPU and okay RAM support. Check user reviews on a couple of sites to see if there have been any major problems.
