2023年7月29日 · If you are using an AVR instead of a soundbar and your TV has limited HDMI 2.1 ports, you could use your AVR’s HDMI 2.1 ports and use the AVR as the hub. Connect your consoles to the AVR’s input HDMI v2.1 ports and run a single Ultra High Speed HDMI Cable from the output of your AVR to the eARC port on your TV.

Due to the fact that the TV only has 2 HDMI 2.1 ports and one of them it taken up as the eARC port which I'm using an eARC audio extractor to mimic full eARC functionality (as my Denon receiver doesn't support eARC), I am left with only 1 usable HDMI 2. ...

2020年8月18日 · As above, there's no such thing as HDMI 2.1 cables. (Or HDMI 2.0 cables or any other number, HDMI cables don't have numbers) HDMI 2.1 is a hardware standard for TV's, AVR's etc. The cable you'd be looking for is an Ultra High-Speed Certified Cable, but they only exist at 3M just now AFAIK and they cost a fortune.

2020年5月27日 · Also note that due to the way HDMI 2.1 works compared to 2.0 that they are unlikely to work with the full 2.1 specification especially the 120Hz as that will require high frequency signalling (TMDS). There is a reason why HDMI org have given likley cable lengths, they know what works and what doesnt work from extensive testing.

2024年11月28日 · Hi there, Can anyone recommend a solid HDMI 2.1 switch? 120hz at 4K ideally with automatic switching. Any price! I’d rather get quality. Between 2-4 inputs. There’s some on Amazon but it’s hard to decipher what’s actually decent versus reviews with questionable authenticity. Thanks!

2019年1月11日 · All 7 HDMI inputs onboard the higher tier Yamaha RXA4a, RXA6a and the RXA8a are HDMI version 2.1 40Gbps compliant, as are their 3 outputs (2 mirrored and 1 seconf HDMI zone output). The issue with these models is that they are still currently awaiting a firmware revision to allow them to passthrough 4K 120Hz or 8K 60Hz.

2021年5月28日 · This is the point where HDMI 2.1 maximum bandwidth is not enough for monitors and latest HDMI ports are not useful anymore. It will start in 2022 with high-end professional panels. Once those monitors are out, HDMI Forum will need to look at creating a roadmap for "HDMI 3.0".

A High Speed (certified) cable is designed for a minimum of 10.2Gbps and Premium High Speed up to 18Gbps which covers 4K and HDR.

2011年12月10日 · I'd rather not upgrade to a new AVR just for eARC and given the cost and teething issues with HDMI 2.1, so the solution seems to be a simple HDMI 2.1 splitter for the PS5 to allow the HDMI 2.1 video signal (4K/120Hz/VRR/ALLM etc) to go the TV, and the Hi-res audio (DTS-MA, DD-Tru HD, Atmos) to go to the AVR.
