2019年6月27日 · Anyone know anything about Leviton "smart panels"? I had a customer call for an estimate on a service upgrade and say that they wanted a Leviton smart panel. So I want to figure out what is involved before going there to look at the job. From what I can tell, it is a Wifi module that goes in the panel and each breaker also is Wifi.

2021年11月17日 · Around here, Leviton is by far the more expensive option, though Square D may be close. Siemens is much cheaper. I still find these more of a novelty. While it would be nice to have smart control of your whole panel, and be able to see usage, the cost would seem to be prohibitive at this point. For the right client maybe, but not average Joe.

2019年9月18日 · If you want per-circuit control, add relays outside the panel. I don't like marrying new products that Leviton may or may not turn out to be committed to. It's very possible that if this foray into smart panels fails, they stop selling parts for this panel. Then you're stranded, screwed if you need to add or replace breakers.
