Medical documentaries don't bother me in the least, YouTube surgeries were very hard to watch, and in-person blood was somewhere in the middle for me.

2012年4月15日 · It really depends on your subspecialty in neurosurgery and the culture of the practice where you join. The PP group in my town has some surgeons who work 100 hours a week by choice (like the cranial surgeons who draw referrals from all over the world or the complex spine guys--who also do clinical research on the side) and others who work 60 hours (the general neurosurgeons with 8 kids).

2012年6月4日 · I've found some good (older) medical documentaries and stuff on Netflix. I watched Doctors' Diaries about 7 Harvard MD grads followed over 20 years and it was pretty good. I also watched one called "Facing Death" that helped me understand oncology/ICU interactions better. Check it out!
